10 mezmerised things from Adobe Creative Days – Warsaw’s event recap.

[dropcap2]I[/dropcap2] must say I’m very impressed about Creative Days event by Adobe. I registered for the event as a spectator about month ago using special code provided by Eduweb.pl which allows me to participate in a creative workshops like: Web, Design and Video. This was a great opportunity to get some free knowledge about how to create digital content nowadays. About 9 a.m. I checked in, collected my wrist band and grab a cup of coffee:) Not many people went early so it turns out takeoff delays. When I was waiting in the lobby I was happy to see not many geeks with their nose sticked into Ipad’s screen. There was a lot of interaction between guests which was cool and defined the richness of Creative Days event.
I was impressed by couple of stands like: – Wacom (Cintiq is the best tool for designers ever), Dell with their workstations, Fotolia for giving free pins 🙂

Adobe Creative Days Warsaw 2013All lectures were very inspirational and creative. As a filmmaker I was focused on video editing and design as well as on Photoshop techniques. I like to listen Rufus Deuchler who is great person because of his charismatic and optimistic speeches. Jason Levine and Paul Trani presented numerous details about new features for the upcoming world premiere of Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC) products like: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects. The groundbreaking news is Adobe will not provide any more boxed applications. Every single app will be available in Adobe’s Cloud for individual user apart. This is the most exciting news because this means international graphic, design or video team members can have access to all apps, projects, source files on the fly in the cloud storage. They can work together on projects in a real time because of synchronization function for software, which was the main problem back in the days. All lectures were very inspirational, speakers got skills and charisma about Adobe’s products. They also know how to encourage to get one of their app’s 🙂 100 % they got me:)

Adobe Creative Days Warsaw 2013There’s been many things going on in three different locations which was ok, because audience could split and sort by specific type of specialization: graphic designers, web, video. Great classes with skilled creators. The good thing was close interaction with speaker asking questions during class. I was getting video and design class. Where design was in a huge cinematic hall with large screen, video was not that great: lack of audio speakers caused many participators complained about it. Including myself:) But I got compensated through amount of editing knowledge for free.
Also it was hard to find a balance between advanced and beginners during classes – so this might be a hint for future Adobes Creative Days promoters – maybe to separate groups in term of skills.
Morning delay caused workshops has changed time duration and lunch break has been canceled. Thank goodness Creative Days promoters provided snacks, juices, fresh fruits and tons of coffee:)

7. No more coding!!! Adobe software allows us to work on visual aspects which is the most creative process of web page design and at the end software will generate our CSS, HTML5 code! Sorry for all programmers, but finally all painters, designers, sculptors etc. will get back at you! Revenge!:)
