Health Matters #3 – 5 Breathing Techniques – How to breath correctly?

[dropcap2]M[/dropcap2]ost of us think food products are one and only source of energy. But mother nature has got something different for us. For instance: without food human can survive couple of weeks, without water few days but without oxygen only few minutes. That is the evidence of faulty thinking patterns in our society.
The point is we can get large amount of life force from the air, rather than from food. Through proper breathing process we can avoid or even reverse aging process. One of the Tibetan monk said:
“It’s scientifically proved eating well and healthy food we can extend our life from 10-20 year. But from good breathing we can live even for 40 years longer! In China cancer is very rare disease. It’s because of their physical condition even in elderly. They do everyday breathing exercises and its a part of their daily routine. In Europe or America people instead of breathing techniques they prefer to absorb cigarette smoke…”

Simple exercise: For those of You who want to get rid of some kilograms there is very easy exercise. During the day, couple of times hold your breath for about 30 seconds. Thats it! In about 2 month or less You can dump about 4 kilograms.

This works because breathing and digestion process are highly connected. Many of You use some diets or drugs in order to have great body look. But those results are only temporary and dangerous for You heart, liver and kidneys.
We breath different in a different life situations. For instance when we are in stress we breath fast and often. When we sing we breath we breath in and breath out very slowly and calm – we fell inner balance between body and soul. When we laugh breathing is fast and includes short breath out shots – this is also good for us.

TECHNIQUES.

Technique: You can practice in any position. This type is our natural way of breathing. Relax Your muscles, even close Your eyes. Breath in to the fullest using Your nose: lower part of lungs should be full and stomach should move forward. Then middle area of lungs by pushing chest to the front. After that we full our upper part of lungs moving our chest up. This all exercise is one breath in. Then breath out by nose, leaving Your chest opened and retract belly as much as we can.
Info: This is the best breathing technique. Babies in age 2-4 use it by default so we can observe them. By this technique we can increase our time life for years!

Technique: Breath in – 2 seconds, then hold breath for 8 seconds and breath out by nose for 4 seconds. Main formula for this exercise is 1:4:2 where 1 is breath in, 4 pause (holding breath), and 2 – breath out.
Remember: in this technique breath out is twice longer than breath in. Use this pattern 2 minutes in the morning and 2 minutes in the evening everyday.

Technique: Breath in by nose for 2 sec., then hold for 3 sec. and after holding we form our mouth  in a “kiss-style” and slowly breath out in a very slow 12 sec. way. Also 2 minutes morning and evening.
Info: this will clean Your lungs, is good for reverse aging process and cells regeneration.

Technique: By using right thumb, clog right nose hole. By using left nose hole breath in for 2 sec., then hold for 2 sec. and breath out for 4 seconds. Repeat 10 times. The same for both nose holes.
Info: this is good for those of You who feels tired. Is also great relief for headaches, headcolds, rheumatism.

Technique: Slowly breath in by nose for 2 sec. (by getting the air push Your belly forward as much as You can), pause for 2 seconds and slowly breath out (4 sec.) trying to retract Your stomach to the fullest.
Info: during first week 10 times/day, second week 15 times/day, third week: 20/day, after one month from 30 to 60 times/day.

Breathing is a basic activity for people. Our life depends on it. As Tibetan monks say:

…If You breath out slowly and calm, You will live longer than other people. In all kind of breathing techniques, breath out is always longer than breath in. Best thing to do is exercise minimum twice a day: before breakfast and less than 3 hours after last evening meal. Make sure You do it outside or in good ventilate room. In every life situation try to breath by nose…
